La Strada rely on local production. A large part of our clothing is made in Italy, which enables short delivery routes and reduces CO2 emissions. Due to the close cooperation with our Italian partners, we can ensure high quality standards and control the manufacturing processes. In addition, we produce as required and thus avoid overproduction. Our collections are manufactured according to the demand to avoid wasting resources. Another focus is on the use of sustainable materials such as linen and cotton. By using natural materials and reducing mixed fabrics, we facilitate the recycling of our clothes.


We also pay attention to sustainability when shipping. Our packaging consists of natural or recycled materials and are plastic -free. We send completely instead of partial deliveries to protect resources. Returns are either prepared and then resold online or in our outlets instead of destroying them. In order to simplify the return process and reduce transport routes, we offer the opportunity to return returns in our branches. 90% of our branches already use ecotroma, while our headquarters in Bad Honnef are 100% supplied with green electricity. This reduces our CO2 emissions and support renewable energies.
